Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Eagles Glass Inc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses and protects information in RingOrder (the “Service”) at ringorder.app. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Two kinds of people are described here
RingOrder involves two groups, and they are treated differently:
- Restaurants — our customers, who sign up and configure the Service.
- Callers — the diners who phone a restaurant that uses RingOrder. We handle caller information on that restaurant’s behalf and on its instructions. The restaurant decides what is collected and why; we process it to deliver the Service and do not use it for our own purposes.
Information we collect from restaurants
- Account and business information — contact name, business name, email address, phone number, city, and what you tell us about your operation.
- Configuration you enter — your menu, prices, modifiers, tax rate, hours, greeting, chosen assistant voice and languages, and how finished orders should reach your kitchen.
- Payout connection — the identifier of the payment account you connect so customer payments reach you. We do not receive your banking credentials.
- Technical information — basic server logs such as IP address and request times, used for security and reliability.
Information we handle about callers
When someone calls a restaurant that uses RingOrder, the Service handles:
- the caller’s phone number, and the name they give;
- the order — items, modifiers, special instructions and totals;
- call audio and/or a transcript, to the extent needed to understand and take the order and to check accuracy afterwards;
- whether a payment link was sent and paid.
Callers should not be asked for, and should not volunteer, information the restaurant does not need to fulfil an order. Card numbers are never spoken to or recorded by the assistant — payment always happens on the processor’s own hosted page, reached by a link.
Calls, recording and automated-assistant disclosure
The assistant identifies itself as an automated ordering assistant at the start of every call. Where a call is recorded or transcribed, that processing supports taking the order, confirming accuracy, and resolving disputes.
Recording and monitoring laws vary by state and country, and some require the consent of every party on the call. The restaurant is responsible for meeting the notice and consent requirements that apply to its own phone line and location, including any additional announcement its jurisdiction requires. We provide the disclosure described above and the configuration needed to add more; we cannot determine what your jurisdiction requires of you.
Text messages
The Service sends a payment link by SMS to the number that placed the order, and may send an order-status message. These are transactional messages tied to an order the caller just placed — not marketing. Message and data rates may apply. A recipient can reply STOP to opt out of further messages; doing so may mean they can no longer pay by text and must pay another way.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and paid into the restaurant’s own connected account. Card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout and never touch our servers — we receive only limited information such as whether a payment succeeded and an identifier for the transaction. Use of payment features is also subject to Stripe’s privacy policy.
How we use information
We use information to answer calls and take orders, price them from the restaurant’s menu, create and send payment links, deliver paid tickets to the kitchen, support and secure the Service, bill restaurants for their subscription, and improve reliability and accuracy. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use restaurant or caller data for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers needed to run the Service, each acting on our instructions: a telephony and voice provider to carry and understand calls, a messaging provider to send the payment link, Stripe for payments, and our database, automation and hosting providers. We also disclose information where the law requires it. We never sell your data.
Because these providers change as the Service develops, restaurants can ask us for the current list at any time.
Retention
We keep restaurant account and configuration data for as long as the account is active. Order records are retained so both sides have a record of the transaction and to handle disputes and refunds. Call audio and transcripts are kept only as long as they are useful for accuracy and dispute resolution, and are deleted or anonymised after that. If an account is closed, or we are asked to delete data, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where records must be kept to meet legal, tax or payment-network obligations.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Restaurants can exercise these rights, and ask questions about their own data, through the contact form.
If you are a caller and want to reach someone about an order or your information, contact the restaurant you called — it decides what is collected and how long it is kept. If you contact us directly, we will pass your request to that restaurant and help it respond.
Cookies
Our public website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Where we use browser storage, it is limited to essentials such as remembering a light or dark theme preference.
Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
